Im much surrounded, by people around. I feel so lonely, very much an irony. My appearances lie, For no one can spy, A screaming being inside. As someone pass, I look for warmth. Any sign to say, 'I know'. There were only liveless glares, Trapped in their own fair share. I am mute, For i can't speak for myself; What is amiss, I cannot tell. I am blind, For I can't see; where beauty lies, In this world of vices. Who can ignite, the glow in my sight? |

very nice poem with loads of meaning for me-yes sometimes it is hard to open up to others, perhaps because we fear once the dam is breached a flood of emotion might overwhelm our friends--and that we would never choose to do,so we remain mute |

Who can ignite, the glow in my sight? only you can...when you see the beauty in your spirit, muse, and realize just how awesome you are...then, things beging to change... wonderful self exploration...and some very astute questions to ponder |
