With one stroke
The sword decides
What is worth
Absolute sacrifice

Whether it is better
To be without honor
Whatever the price

Or to fall
However futile
With a final smile

For in the end
What does it matter
Who lives
Or dies

The sun setting
Is red in the sky

Does so much
Do you want
To depend upon

After all
When all
Is said and done—

The white chickens

inkedgoddess,

Oh yes, we are, yet only very briefly;
only long enough to concern ourselves
with what matters.

Thanks for reading.
