I implore you, search me deeply, As if my eyes really are the windows to my soul Explore me, find me, guide me, heal me Enclose me deep within the warmth of your love Show me, prove to me that this magic is real And is something that is worth fighting for Please, teach me again the song in my heart, The melody is still there; I've just somehow forgotten the words Hold me close; place your hand in the small of my back As we slow dance through life, through love Shatter the pieces of untrust That have been so powerfully embedded into my heart So that I can once again feel secure My days have been too long without the warmth of the sunshine on my face, the wind in my hair I invite you along my journey, With just one request... Please don't stop to smell the roses If you don't intend on staying a while... |

I think the poetry here is in the sincerity. |

I really can relate to this honest and open piece. Much enjoyed. hugs, Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |
