From the Eyes of a Child Whenever I come face to face With golden skies and child’s grace I choose to rest my eyes upon The very best of which I’m fond I cannot seem to lift my head To sun-streaked aureate and red When all the joy of sunset skies Is mirrored in a child’s eyes There is no rainbow to be caught More radiant than a child’s thought No love more splendid to impart Than that which fills a child’s heart Into the April winds are tossed In innocence forever lost That lustrous depth of simple truth Behind the tender eyes of youth Whenever I come face to face With golden skies and child’s grace More radiance beams from little eyes Than from the vast and glorious skies Elizabeth Santos |

Mercy me! I am so glad to see you are feeling better, and writing, and of course, it is of children. Then again, you have the "American Dream" family, and those cherubs of yours would make anyone smile. Love you m'friend. Enjoy your visit won'tca? You have NO idea how much I wish I were coming, but the year isn't over. |

There is no rainbow to be caught More radiant than a child’s thought No love more splendid to impart Than that which fills a child’s heart you have spoken volumns here, and touched the very essense of precious moments... captivating read...which I pray everyone in the world takes time to see... Hugs and thank you |

I really liked this. I think I'm going to give a copy to my sister, who is expecting her 2nd child in June. I know she would love it! Tara |
