           i can be mature

but it goes against my nature

to act more than half my age

especially when i'm trying to get past the introduction page

of a girl i fall in love with everytime she's on stage

               in my heart

i try to get the part

         of the leading man

but some other guy always has a better plan

than me, wether conversation or holding hands

other guys make it look so easy to be in demand

              by her heart
