Who could see me the way he does… Who, as pushing my hair back with his big warm hands, Loves the look on my face As I feel every bit of him against me Beneath me Loving me… Who could love this heart of mine quite the way he does… Who, as pulling me closer, Tells me I am beautiful in spite of my self That no matter what this outer shell becomes It is more the heart of me that entices his soul For wanting more of me… Who could know me better than he… Who, as showing me my human flaws in such a gentle way, Explains to me why that little girl is who she is Why she does the things she does— She sees me— Who but he could tell me that… It is he, this man who saved me from myself This man I unwittingly found while giving up on finding him Who could be the one the way he is… Only he… dgvarner 021706 "We of the craft are all crazy...all are more or less touched." Whoa.. this absolutely took my breath away. Such a poetic description of the way love should always be!! A keeper for sure. The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |
