[Revised] When I walk into a room There is no one around When I step outside my door I never hear a sound When I sleep inside my bed I never even dream When I turn on the TV It's blank, or so it seems I am pushed into a corner I am left holding the door I am always interrupted I am trampled on the floor Existing to survive Persist to be alive Desiring recognition Detesting isolation As I drive along the road It's empty as can be As I wander here at home Myself, I only see As I call upon the phone No answer to receive As I shout out to the Lord It’s me, who's not believed Shunned by silent voices I was washed upon a shore I was there for no one else And alone forever more I existed to survive Persisted to stay alive Desired recognition Detested isolation I am no longer "If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead." |

JCP... Sounds like a get 'em rolling song... and the resultant consequences if one is not heeded. You did well here... Now stand up and sing it. |

I’ve always wondered what “Poof, Up In Smoke” meant. Now I have a concept, thanks to “The Death of Loneliness”. JL |
