the waves of 9-11

The strike of the bell
startles the trees,
and lost in blue acres,
a once blooming tower
is missing its people;

as sense lost direction;

and now just the waves
fill in these blank spaces,
holding the sky up,
balancing faith
upon eachother's inflection.
