Twirling On Edge I watched the clouds paint my day in swirls of before and after. I leaned into the wind, letting the"cool down" measure my steps, not wanting to move on, enjoying the circular motion of the last of the leaves dancing and twirling on edge, being lifted over and over, reminding me of a Picasso. I toasted the afternoon with a smile, as the sun gave peek in triumph, defying the temperature drop. A serenade of blue giving background to the swirls. There are times like this, when nothing matters but the coating of the day, when peace is in the heart and the path ahead seems wide and welcoming with the wonders of Winter. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Maureen, It is so refreshing when you write like this and let your spirit soar. Your imagery is so bright and crystal clear...reminds me of words to the song, "you are the rainbow I've been praying for" The wonders of wynter are indeed, a many splendored thing. *hugs* |

Good Afternoon, Ethel..good to see you..yesterday while teaching, I was in a cottage ( trailer) and had to go out with the class to the main building. The wind kicked up and the leaves blew into the air and the temperature dropped.. it was all in a moment's notice. hope you are well M |

Maureen, this was deliciously beautiful. It is great to see you happier, even if just in the moment. May there be lots more twirling leaves to lift your spirits - and to give birth to more poetry like this for us to read. - Owl |

That was a wonderful read. It really takes me back to the old days, when responsibility was a hangover, or a phone bill. |
