Long ago, before the sands of time, love was birthed into existance, poured into the soul of each man, to share throughout his world, his universe. It lives and breathes, flows and moves, in the trees, the winds of the earth, they scatter and carry it to and fro. All creatures, great and small, were created by love, love flows in universal harmony. Love was the power behind the passion of many poets and writers of old, who bridled loves all encumbering power, forming it unto paper with words and thought. Love has brought death back to life, rescued the lost, healed the broken, love has taught lessons, and cured the sick, made the blind see. Loves magical force, its inspiration, it is only a small four letter word, but so powerful that some fear it, so powerful that it changes lives. Oh, the beauty of love, if one is blessed in his lifetime to grasp it, to hold it just for one moment, feeling its power, then letting it go. Love reaches in and grabs the heart, with an iron hand strong enough to withstand it flames, without melting. For centuries it has molded and shaped the universe,the earth, moon, and stars, all relate to the magicial pull of love. No here I stand today, thousands of years later, and when I whisper soft words in your ear, "I Love You", you see the power these three words contain. For they are more than three words, they are the key to the universe, to heaven itself. When I say "I love YOU", I am offering all that exists, or ever existed. I am offering you my life, my world, my love, and all that ever was, or will be, and everything in between. |
