Something Good Might Come Through It is hard to frown when the sun shines, even though the cold wind blows and cuts crossing barriers and high walls that don’t seem to stay strong but seem invisible and full of holes, or chinks, perhaps crevices, something empty and void, or perhaps should best be seen as fallible, so that somehow, in one way or another, something good might come through them, maybe. Perhaps I should just start chiseling widening the holes on my own, let the wind whistle through where it may, allow light to dapple grasses and pathways, and maybe even let some moisture come through. Perhaps, if I do that, the garden of love will grow, again. Yes, Grandmother… I am listening. " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

Now perhaps this will not come across as being right - as my way of critique may be different in ways acceptable. Not to take the shadow or sunshine from your poem, but to leave my own words in the shade of those in appreciation of the above Even if in my case these words below were composed some 12 hours ago. I feel they answer my feelings of all of the above, in ways I cannot otherwise express. Although of a completely unrelated spirit of promoting. 5076 Barriers and Bridges 12 February 2006 I want to marry you this indeed could be true I want to dream your dream I want one and one to equal too This Tabitha of beauty to seek her being one of only in befriend Yet what was love - half a world away that can build barriers and not bridges which in structure guide each day This proposal of giving to care that love of one oh so fair I want to marry you because if that was true My world would be complete my heart overflowing in joy Then as I go to sleep at night I know my feeling have been neigh “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” Matthew 22: 30 KJV a poet who cares |

Sissie "let the wind whistle through where it may, allow light to dapple grasses and pathways," I would agree with your grandmother! |

What a great "telling" and the imagery was just wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Karilea. "If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead." |
