Kwan Swan Kwan ~most graceful beauty on ice~ Swan ~most graceful beauty on lakes~ both equally delight the eyes even when the Kwan Swan song slides to a stop behold, that within the finale the rare gifts of beauty each offer us shall remain forever |

Michelle Kwan, indeed a swan on ice. I just heard she has withdrawn from the Olympics. Well done Kacy...Hugs~Nancy In the midst of winter, |

thanks Dave, and Nancy it is a sad ending, but Michelle exited with the same graceful dignity she has always given us on the ice |

So well said, Kacy. I'm disappointed she won't be in the Olympics this year, but there are memories and videos and she is an icon of what art was meant to be! So many of us got to view it and I'll never forget her -- she inspired the spirit of being true to one's self no matter what the form of expression. ....jo |

If she inspired this from you, then she is a joy, indeed. I haven't been following the Olympics this year... but I can always rely on you to bring me the world. |

Well done Kacy. I am also dissappointed she had to drop out. She is a swan in every way. |

Yes Kacy, much truth...even after we are gone, the beauty shall remain and flourish. |

I haven't been able to watch any of the events this time, but read that Michelle Kwan decided to pull out after yet another injury. The words she chose to announce her exit were the epitome of grace and beauty. Thanks for reading, friends. I wanted to write something elegant, but had just come off a 12.5 hour overnight shift and my muse just wasn't up for graceful elegant writing. My morning exit swan song is more like a duck quack. |
