Your siblings calls you “Kuya” Your two sons calls you “Papa” Nieces and nephews addressed you as “Uncle” You’re well-known to many as simple as “Boy” You may be also known by other names, Such tags that goes along with being a “Manok!” You’ve got special taste in shoes and clothing, Oh how you love wearin’ nothing but original Guess® shirts! Coffee and Inquirer is your morning habit While smoking a Marlboro red stick. You’re crazy about playing Tetris, Even got high scores in Yahoo Bookworm! How could we ever forget the taste of your “Caldereta” Which is scrumptious, tangy and oh, spicy! How you made us laugh with your wacky antics Never fails to bring smile in everyone’s face. And yet, beyond those jokes you shared Is love and concern that’s deep Though you rarely say it by words It’s distinct within your heart. These are the things that you always do These are the things that we will long through Saddened by your sudden parting, It’s hard to look back without weeping. |
