It is quite alright if I recieve no reviews on this one, I just had to get the words out of me.

From some where deep in the earth a pure white horse escaped it’s prison
Our eyes wide open yet the darkness does consume
The spirit of conquest consumed our souls on that day
From then on we strived to make slaves of each other
A bloodlust soon followed
Consuming our ideas and our beliefs
Can any of us sit back and truly understand why this occurs?
Inside of a burning inferno another horse rears it heads
Its blood red image would soon be understood as the fuel for war
Our lives becoming meaningless, simply we became cannon fodder
Killing for the greater good, yet never being informed of what that is
We have warred for religion, even though it was blasphemy to do so
Wars have occurred for riches, yet most of those who fought are poor
The true causality of war is the human race
Will we ever be able to put down our weapons?
On a black horse famine ravages even the youngest of mouths
We bare witness to these atrocities yet we will never comprehend
Those skeletal figures cause many to turn the channel
They’re very souls being bled from their bodies
Phantoms vanishing in the eternal sphere
Thirty thousand children died from hunger today
I guess that is why the world coined the phrase the good die young
Will we ever stop spending money on weapons instead of the victims of the black horse?
From the fog comes the pale horse
Come to collect all those who fell victim to the three previous riders
Humans making his job a synch
Death chuckles to itself as it hears the solitary screams of a mad world
We must chose to cut its laughter short
For humanity to endure forever
We must banish these fearsome creatures from our plains
It has come time to put down our blades
It is time to pick up our pens
Fear not of evil, for freedom from these vices can be obtained
If the times do not change we will all fall victim to these faceless riders
My words seem to have been torn from the end of times
Yet all of these things occur today
Peace is written on every heart
Look deep because I know it is there
For I am human
Thus I am no different then you

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

And then, came my horse, Flicka, who sowed mutual love and adoration to all those who came within his aura, for 37½ years (20½ of them I was his) - people, cats, dogs, horses and even a duck.  Where he is buried, his tree flourishes the most, his flowers blaze with the colour of his love and he still offers me solace to keep going.

The four riders . . .

sadly, having a heart is what makes us prey to the very things you describe.

Nice job, poe.

~sigh~ maybe, if we can keep our vision and our actions on the horses of Respect and Love for all living creatures, and not give up Hope that we may yet prove ourselves worthy of our time on Earth.
I love reading you.

Thank you, MGROVES. Peace to you as well and to the whole world.
Well that is quite the statement OwlSA, it seems that it is just a common occurence for us South Africans to go off on tangents. I am glad though that peace found its way to you,in what ever form it takes.
Thank You, littlewing. It is true it is just another one of those double edged swords we seem to find.
Thank you, Midnitesun. I can see that no one else on these boards has posted more responses then you, I thank you for this. Your kind words have helped inspire me to my current state of being. If onlt midnite if only we find those rogue horses.

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.
