I Think He Left Me For Dead

I wonder if he ever thought
If I was still alive or dead
Perhaps he will enquire
Upon those months ahead

I wonder if it would happen
Would he remember me
Something might occur
That could jog his memory

I wonder how he was doing
I had thought of him a lot
Faithful friend I had been
Seems that had been forgot

I wonder when he finds time
My emails might be read
Though he knew all along
That I am alive and not dead

I wonder while hanging here
What can be his excuse
I think he left me for dead
Yet he even forgot the noose
