Love twists the oak of my land,
winds lazily through stony brooks,
laughs heartily among the canyon
walls...and brings to bear a lone
wolf of a tear...perilously balanced
upon a wavering lid.

Can you perceive the wrench of my
soul in your absence?  Feel the void
that leads within the cave of my
heart where fires have burned and
withered...

Can you sense the smolder of a
vine that entwines me into your
arms?   The stones that fall upon
my shoulders as your steps lead
further away....

Perhaps one day a light shall
bathe the silhouette of your
loveliness, the rise of silk that
you are....and one day bring to
my parched and pouting lips that
one cry....One cry when it is
gone.

Magnus
Your words are like the mellow play of a harp. Delightful to read.
