It comes to me, this sweet melody stirred softly on gentle wind. I hear the spirit of wild crying inside {tambourines echo through night’s silence} Dark eyes still pierce my soul when breezes stir this ballet of trees through the smoke I can see Flames flicker, memories silhouette still burning images traced in desires hold. Tonight the stars dance {a sway of lovers song} in their own rhythm divine and again I am entranced, dreamlike; mesmerized by the sound of a spirited gypsy lullaby. {revised repost from open 33} I refuse to make plans past this moment in time.... |
