Why is it that, some people die with others left behind to cry? no rhyme or reason thought of season it matters not old age or youth sophisticate or boor uncouth good or evil matters not nor what goals in life are sought of answers I admit I've none to how it's chosen a life is done there is but one thing I am sure that my life shall not endure now I fear not of Reaper's curse for I have seen and felt things worse and when it comes my time to die there'll be those left behind to cry. |

now I fear not of Reaper's curse for I have seen and felt things worse ~*~ I think everyone in their lifetime believes "it cannot be any worse"... and then there are stories... Me? I am opting [and will probably pay for] a party. I want everyone to party! I think the transition from here, to somewhere else... is a good thing. I want folks to dance, to rejoice, to enjoy that they are not joining me at the moment.... I want to hear singing! Loud and clear and strong! I think I hijacked your poem.... but you made me want to express.... thank you! |

now I fear not of Reaper's curse for I have seen and felt things worse and when it comes my time to die there'll be those left behind to cry. I hope my leaving, never pains anyone so, more so, I hope they have a party, and remember in great big smiles, all the wonderful times we've shared, how we grew together and touched each others lifes.... I want no one to feel pain at the loss of me, but more so, perhaps a little more content in knowing me, and my very mundane life. It is such a shame, that when people are gone forever, we wish so, we'd have treated them, like each and everyday with them, was they're last, and it is then, and only then, we realize how blessed in them we were. Hugs to you for a thought provoking poem...well done |
