Van Gogh’s Nature

I see with Van Gogh’s inner eye
Riotous colors, minds imply
Flooding o’er the palettes girth
This palette of this stream and earth

The color blinds the introspect
They also bind the intellect
They fuse the mist into a dream
A seem within a flowing stream

They must be taken as a whole
A simmering soup within a bowl
The chaos that they truly are
The chaos from a living star

This fusion is a point of light
That fills the sky within the night
The light that made Van Gogh so odd
That tried to touch the hand of God

Yet I would touch the hand of God
And that’s why people think me odd

a pirouette upon the stage
a dance of words upon the page
I see the art of you and he
and much enjoy the mastery

another definition for odd could be artistically insane? *wink*
me thinks youre just poetically brilliant.
I'll touch your hand... you can put in a good word for me with God. *S*

Not only did I enjoy this masterful art you have defined so well, but also, Janet Marie's reply...

your perception I'm certain has definately touched the old man's hand...and look, see, He's smiling a great big old nod on you and all who are blessed to read you...

Hugs you and thank you

a man took me to see god once
then had a smoke ,tipped his hat
and said 'see ya sweetheart"
i still feel him
between the starry nights
and the sunflowerss
his crytic colors
etched deep inside
the eye of the heart

WOW!

I read the poem and thought wow that sure looks like Janet Marie's steam - DOH!  Well even old ladies have blonde moments you know

Beautiful both picture and words, and I love when she and I twiddle our toes in her stream too.

Is it only my eye that [maybe] sees?
The need of hands in need of seed?
I see two figures in reach of more...
like poems, and stories, and one's core...

I sense a poet who dreams a muse
I see a man who stands, infused,
I reflect a man who stands a shore,
and whispers, reflective, evermore

There casts a light for only one,
who seeks a stream beneath a sun
she is fellow, thus she bears a seem
allowing one light, to field a dream...

Is it only my eye that [maybe] sees?
The faces and grasp of those in need?

~*~

Ah, between the two of you?
It begats
inspire.
