I woke up one morning and I was alive It was around the age of five Not knowing why I exist Was there something that I had missed I was born, but why Beginning to cry No idea where I came from Wondering what will I become The questions flying by at light speed For the answers I plead What is the point of being Am I just a tourist out for the sightseeing There has to be a point to existence This life has to have some kind of subsistence The day continued on There was no conclusion to be drawn This life I never asked for The gift I was given I can not ignore There has to be a reason to be Of this I need a guarantee The night falls and I drift off to the world of dreams Knowing that everything is not what it seems Almost twenty years later And my knowledge of these things is no greater Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |
