Isabella

Open to me the gates of your heart for I will enter them to love, for it is wonderful in your eyes what the day has made. Your law has been my delight, O’ how I meditate on your beauty, my dear saint enlighten me with the statues.

Sweetness to my palate is your every deed, as my soul lives to pour forth in praise, that which is enthroned in heaven. Where my eyes will never sleep in the light of your splendor.

O’ daughter of Babylon you shape me into my inner most being, nurture me in loves sweet womb and lift me to the farthest limits of the sky on the wings of dawn.

Lines, such as these... could lull one into
a sleep of great peace and tranquility.

I've always loved the name Isabella.
And though I named my daughter Sara Margaret,
and my second choice was Sara Maria, my third choice was Isabella Marghuerite.
And her nickname, Kawaii...cutie pie in Japanese, though no one knows but me and a couple of others that is her nickname. Until now. LOL
A beautiful write, with a soft gentle flow, just like the way 'Isabella' rolls off the tongue.

this is a bella write

How lovely 'Mano.  Again your words have touched me and allowed me to soar.  I just found this one when searching for your poetry...I hadn't read anything from you in a while...and to tell you the truth...I was craving your words!

Lovely write!
