The Sleep I fumble her spirit in crowns of sunlight by holy words of foreign tongue. That in which the language of love I speak. Why paradise in pleasure? Why partings in oceans? Why does the rain reply? Why do brooks run dry Why do rivers overflow when seas of blue worship the sky? For every rose to seek it’s beauty upon her cheek. Dance another tune played within her kiss asleep. To wake and let her heart run to me with open arms into the nations of love. (C) Kevin Brian Wright |
