Black Forest (SW Germany) I can never forget her, ever since she said these healing words, "Always remember that you need me, and always remember that I need you." And I do, and I do... Its not really black you know. but at times it can be dark if your mind so inclines. Upon this bright summer day, darkness was far from my mind. For too long we had been apart, me and my black forest sweetheart, and oh how my heart did ache, missing her whipped cream cherry kisses and her dark chocolate cake. Now, I am almost there, taking a walk in the black forest to my sweetheart Claire. Across the streams, through the meadows under the wooded mountain trees, to satisfy the love that lives in the heart of my sweetheart and me. Before me lies the meadow, I still remember that day, the meadow in which Claire first stole my heart away. She did nothing pretentious, nothing so rare, her fragrance permeating the cool meadow air. Claire, my sweet angel, Claire are you there, come to me to show me, how much you care, every piece of my heart, yearning to share. JamesLee July22 2005 |
