“You do love me, do you not?” She inquires Of his presence, this lover of her wares — “Do tell me — is your love but false desires Skin-cloaked and shrouded in a veil of cares?” He pauses as one would deeply ponder A manoeuvre game of black and white — And his undetermined mind will wander, As one in search of correct movement might. For what she seeks, he will not take a stand; Will not relinquish comfort of his sword — So with one flowing motion of her hand She sweeps his hollow pieces off the board. CG |

Very clever, Dear Guard of the Castle! Love is indeed like a game of chess! I'm so pleased to see you posting again! May your 2006 be a year of loving and living! EA |
