In Three Days

I know how it feels
to have someone special
that I adore to care for.

I know the thrill of that
moment when she first
gave her heart to me.

I know the softness of
her lips as we shared
the sweetness of her kiss.

In three days she's
coming home, and all of
my loneliness will depart,

while I'm looking into the eyes,
and kissing the lips of
my precious sweetheart.
