You told me… when you look at me you see a woman in her early fifties healthy and good looking without a job wasting her lonely days. You see someone whit no backbone… you see someone who gave up on herself When I look at myself I see a woman who tries to look better then she feels to hide the pain inside I see a woman who fights to live and accept the limitations of her body I see a woman who worked so hard in the past that her backbone became fragile as glass and her heart struggles to keep in pace with every step forward I see a woman who… no matter how she feels uses her words her touch or just a smile to make every person she meets feel a little better when they part… This little she can do So… at night just before she closes her eyes she knows that the day wasn’t wasted… at all… |

and whomever has told you that nonsense, doesnt know you and maybe sees themselves through you, but are in denial. I see a woman with a loving heart and soul. I needed this right now. Thank you. |

Oh, wow! I too needed this today and maybe every day. Thank you for speaking for so many of us women whose backs have given in under the strain. Helen |

Good that you know yourself well enough to not be influenced by such negative remarks! Go on sharing your love, your smiles, your beauty. You know what counts. Love, Margherita ![]() |

I see a woman who… no matter how she feels uses her words her touch or just a smile to make every person she meets feel a little better ~*~ I see your woman, too. I'm glad we share mirrors, my friend. I'm so very glad of your reflection. |

God... Neeraja, this poem sums up my relationship with some of my family. I mean, I'm not a woman but I know EXACTLY what that feels like. For lack of a better term, You Rock! Wonderful poem! Sincerely - Ed Grim |

I see a woman who's keeping her hopes high, her heart open and her smile smiling despite of physical limitations which would drive many people crazy Don't let those 'ignorants'get to you Neeraja, keep smiling girl. Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

I see a woman, courageous, who has walked many a mile...with a beautiful smile that certainly touches every person who comes in contact with her... |

There are no wasted days if you make them count and it sounds as if you do. However, I think you need to waste a few less smiles on him because it doesn't look like he appreciates you. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

"I see a woman who… no matter how she feels uses her words her touch or just a smile to make every person she meets feel a little better" Yep, that's what I'm reading....Very nicely done indeed! Eric |

The woman I see is strong and brave, strong enough to not let the false comments of one effect the woman you know you are. There are many who can relate to this poem, and needed to read it. Thank you |
