Rain Memories 17 December 2005 Curtains of soft grey mist and rainblack road and fresh green hills and fields - the silence shouts and you, my children, are again with me in Vernon, the Volkswagen Variant, voices bubbling and all of us lifted into a rain-excitement bathed in an unconscious happiness untinged with pain, and the memory crumples me. - Owl |

Very beautiful, dear Owl! The rain exercises its fascination on children and there is joy in touching the wet element ... the association with tears comes later. You say it so very well! Love, Margherita |

Damn, this is good. You hit right home, gave me chills. Made me remember going to the drive-in all packed in - all the neighborhood kids in an ole' station-wagon, the kind with the fake wood on the side? Nice job, Diana. |
