Swaddled Moon ~*Marge Tindal*~ ~Oh, swaddled moon so softly cradles this night rock-a-bye song until early light lullaby sung gently in starry ebon sky feather tipped cloud-skirts drift on high crescent phase lays in undulation of sighs as the slipper of moon tippy-toes across sky held in adoration by seeking eyes from below leave lovers to wonder at the beauty bestowed never such luminosity from such a small gaze as seen through these trees with exalted ease slipping thru the galaxy with graceful flare as though there was an audience waiting anticipating the ease with which she's waltzing herself through this month of dance ... prancing ever daintly until she reaches full-term oh, swaddled moon~ ~While she is only a crescent of herself she appears to cradle the night~ ~*No matter what I search for ... |
