Ive lost my heart My eyes are a tear I know one day ill forget Now it seems not here I have waited so long For someone no longer I let my soul fly free Not chained to another First time in so many years Why love when love is cruel Why trust when trust is gone Why allow myself to hurt longer To punish me for another My soul is tired In need of newness I wont explain the hurt of a heart broken No longer deserved given To you as you took My love gone "Dont cry because its over, smile because it happened. " |

"My soul is tired In need of newness" Yes, I can understand this but, you know, the soul doesn't take things lying down. It's a fighter beyond compare. If new it wants then new it will have! Sometimes even the hurt is the new the soul needs.  Helen |
