Wearing A Welcome Sign

I never blocked my muse
Whats causing the delay
It could return at anytime
Yet I need to write today

I was awaiting my muse
Yet it had failed to arrive
I think it's stayed behind
In two thousand and five

Appears there is a blank
Since entering new year
While awaiting my muse
I shall have to persevere

The celebrating was over
I am ready to start anew
Where can my muse be
I was waiting to continue

Anyone finding my muse
Could you drop me a line
Hope in my heart is here
Wearing a welcome sign

Hope - Sometimes what we want doesn't always come to us immediately but if we want it badly enough it will eventually.  Perhaps there's a reward somewhere, sometime, for being patient.  In any event, it's a new year and your welcome sign is hung.  Your muse has already come in your looking for it ... and some people don't believe in miracles.

Cute beckoning here.  You are so poetic, I'm sure it'll return in no time flat.  I see glimpses of it here!
