Wearing A Welcome Sign I never blocked my muse Whats causing the delay It could return at anytime Yet I need to write today I was awaiting my muse Yet it had failed to arrive I think it's stayed behind In two thousand and five Appears there is a blank Since entering new year While awaiting my muse I shall have to persevere The celebrating was over I am ready to start anew Where can my muse be I was waiting to continue Anyone finding my muse Could you drop me a line Hope in my heart is here Wearing a welcome sign Hope ©2006 Link to the poem with music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/94/poem_805853.html |

Hope - Sometimes what we want doesn't always come to us immediately but if we want it badly enough it will eventually. Perhaps there's a reward somewhere, sometime, for being patient. In any event, it's a new year and your welcome sign is hung. Your muse has already come in your looking for it ... and some people don't believe in miracles. ![]() |

Cute beckoning here. You are so poetic, I'm sure it'll return in no time flat. I see glimpses of it here! |
