Especially in the quiet of remember My mind reaches for the firelight In a state of heightened omission That tugs the soul tight Infinite, the moments burn Slipping further tandem turn In the thrill of your favor My mind hums caresses gently In heartbeat that abides such esteem The delicate strum of oblique My ear to pectoral pulse How wise the design to the touch As soft and hard of corresponding coil Breathes in heavy steam within the flame And what becomes a pillow for my thoughts Escapes my lungs in a lush and low light moan Weary of the wait appeals auspicious tone Turning me from top to bottom Above and beneath the sensitive horizon It is your eyes where I bathe in beauty Without regret Copyright Kkh 12/30/05 |
