I'm screaming your name,
Though, what it is, is unknown to me.
And it seems as if all my words are disappearing into the moon tonight.
Along with all the sanity, I'd held on to for so long.
Loneliness erupts inside me like a cannon on a quiet evening.
I wish, I hope, I dream,
but in the end all it is,
is a fantasy.
Waiting is so painful, patience seems nonexistent in a world where you want everything now,
and everything has to be perfect.
So, can you tell me?
Can you tell me what I truly want.
Because without an answer,
I'm lost.
I'll be left forever staring into the dark night sky,
wondering if my hopes, my wishes, my dreams,
will stop being a fantasy, stop being replayed in my mind
and become truth.
A truth I can see, hear, and feel.
A truth I know is real.
