The city lights are burning bright,
burns the town down,
and for a second,
I am thankful that I left,
that my secret was kept,
because I couldn't remember it.

Hearts were thrown around,
years of this has broken me down,
I felt the fear crawl up my spine,
with your smile things were fine,
but you're no longer here,
and today this ends.

This smile is fake,
These tears aren't.
