I once knew a flower,
That lived by love,
And for those few hour,
my heart did move.

In a valley it grew,
Lived, and nourished,
Where only this heart knew,
and love flourished.

So beautiful it was,
That flower and I,
As time gave to us pause,
‘neath summer sky.

I lived for that moment,
Though it moved swift,
for time did present,
love, a heart’s gift.
