The course I ride a course I’ve named naïve Abide a source I do believe It starts the base a pyramid Block on block I climb amid The top is high the sky is blue Each block I climb I find some new But breathing’s hard within these heights And naïve thoughts do dim the lights Exhausting is the climb today And age is begging me to stay To linger in the dreamers dew To stop my climb and stay with you And though you are my staff and strength The rope I hold the winds wavelength Naïve weighs heavy on my back My feet do falter in their track I’ve climbed half way to heavens goal To climb the rest would take my soul |

You write so beautifully and of such wisdom. I enjoyed this much. At first, I'm thinking of the physical climb - and whew! Was I out of breath at those altitudes! Then, in the end, I thought of the spiritual climb - and whew! Was I out of words at those altitudes!  JM |

Pyramids, yet! Each enormous brick has a purpose, and each one has sweat and blood and tears and stories and oh my, but you know this, huh? I'll shaddup and kiss you now. *shaking my head* I just love going for walks with you. Even all the way to Egypt. |
