he was an iconoclast
submerged subconsciously in limpid disharmonic irreverent reverence
or perhaps he was just confused
are not all heretics disembodied clerics
in search of intransigent nuns
(much as the miscreant linguist seeks intransitive nouns)
to perforate in unholy trinities in disassociated displeasure?
Semiotic secularism I suspect…
But then…
I was raised a Mennonite...

which brings to mind…
pacifistic non compos mentis-
menno simonized in horrant mendacity?
ignobably pusilanimous?
are we not all peccable in our perfidy?
and why all the infernal infertile odious questions?
why ask me?
like I said,
I was raised a Mennonite…
