i would gather the black root willows
that fall like night from your crown

i’d cup them like daisies, and garland
a nest for your soul

beloved

for the rivers that run from your eyes
and weave like lovers and fall like kisses
one by one...
they cannot do without the other
beneath the voice of
do not leave me alone again

for paths have crossed
between the moon and dying nights

and in the mist of tigers and river-beds
we'll find a new normal yet

how i would love you, love you as no one ever did! Die and still, love you more. And still love you more..and more

Some days I feel like, I must have been a bad bad girl in a previous life, and then there are gifts like these, from you,

"my beloved"

and damn if I didn't do something right.

*tears*

and relief

that somebody understands me

and wow

she is a goddess too!

I love you Maria.

This is beautiful, Maree...

and a lovingly fitting gift
for our serene one...

to you both...

Maree...the way you mix imagery and feeling together is always so amazingly beautiful!  As is this poem!

Maree, I have felt your heart, but I do believe that our Serenity can actually hold it in her hand.  Today was a good day for a gifting.

Your picture is absolutely angelic.

Nicely done! And dedicated to the right person for sure....However, somehow I hope she never finds "a new normal"  That might be a huge poetic crash...
