On Mourning Sea

on mourning sea

for all to hear
Nevermore can I
sail upon tears
of regrets past
I must now make
foam crest more
Turning me back
to shoreline of
shallow ebbings
leaving past of
sandcastle love
awash in ripple
of tide-in-turn
carrying me out
riding the tide
on its' crested
flow to oceanic
depth ... alas~

backwash of ink

Oh yes, we need to get on with life in spite of past failures or losses, lest we become rutted, bitter and unproductive. This is a beautifully written reminder, Marge. Thanks.

Thank you all for your replies~

This started out as a 'self-challenge' just to see if I could do a four-minute piece with the Courier New font ... and the fingers flew ... so, as much as I may 'deny' the rapidity of the thoughts ... they must have needed an outlet~

AND ... TRACIE ... I can't tell you how my heart soared to see you here~
It is for the archives that I am thankful when I can slip an email off ... and have a dear friend return to PiP ..~
