where are you, ANWR? |

I drink black gold from the bowels of Earth and there is nothing you can do about it. I am thirsty. And I am not willing to find alternates. So remember this when you fill up my tank. And as you remember, think of the tundra, the life that exists beyond my eyesight or yours, the life you are so willing to spend and sacrifice for the sake of another mile or two. Dear Ms Murkowski of Alaska, and Mr Bush of America, and all other ANWR drilling supporters: You shall some day have to face your own grandchildren, if lucky, your great grandchildren and answer the tough question: WHY??? WHY??? WHY??? Why didn’t you spend your time and energy seeking alternative fuels??? Why were you so willing to suck down all the black gold of the Earth’s coffers until there was no more left within the tanks? Why were you so willing to sacrifice generations of animals, the environment, in order to maintain your artificial lifestyle? And why did you think future generations would thank you for this mindset? *when you look for your lost keys in the bright light, do you ever stop and ask yourself, "where did I lose them???"* *let's see if you can solve this one....* |

The toughest thing about how you see things, Kacy, is understanding why others don't!! Well said. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

this is odd as I just watched a show on using alternative methods for fuel - two guys made their own tank and hoses and ran a van on used vegetable oil. As for your question below? If I am in the bright light, seems someone would be hiding them on me . . . |

Susie, but what if...just imagine, what if those lost keys were in the dark closet, or just out of sight at the edge of the driveway? never mind that mine are usually in my purse or backpack...ie, nearly invisible to me. LOL |

Walking? moi? lol, that isn't such a bad idea, and I walked an average of five miles daily when I didn't have a car. But I was thinking more along the lines... that all too often, we seek solutions for our problems in all the wrong places, and therefore, cannot find what we seek which may be right under our noses. SIGH, I am good at doing just that! |
