Watch the stars See how they shine But one thing people don’t realize Is that those stars in the sky Shine Just for them They sparkle and dance To put on a show And they do very well So I am told So watch the stars as they shine For someday they must die Just like you and I So what I have learned from these stars Is live out your life Just shine like the stars Dance and have a good time For when you die You know that you lived out your life And had that great time "I am the one who has to die when it's my time to die, so I'm gonna live life the way I wanna"- Jimi Hendrix |

You know, by the time a star "burns out", "dies", "does not shine any more", it's been dead a long, long time. Hundreds of hundreds of years by the time we are able to know of it's extinguishment. You ever feel like that? Like you've died, but no one will notice for a long time? I enjoyed reading this poem. |
