Why does that feeling always be an image that waft of what might be Was it the touch of fingers on something Was it songs that match Was it Love Was it a choice of where you lived or no Just you Have I ever known that some thing Is always there You are never there for me But is this your mother’s teaching As wear something in bed And I bought you The long gown Were you in vision waving that night On a bus that led to something you took with you to live with the money but bear mine Was it that something And another day yes a repeat For those who know who they are: Duty On a mountain side trees drifting their gentle boughs for my lonely tower That pities the wind freezing the soul Consuming us naked and whole As looking far into my life Stark staring wind you are my knife Plunging into my heart break Wind my friend I am yours to take I raise my eyes to your shadow enveloping the grey sun threads between your thoughts as you sacrifice and I face my own fear I will call to the wind that makes a mountain fair I will see my thoughts echo I see you standing there Storms above challenge my regard Dancing on my soul Raining through the shard I call to the wind Explosive as it flows Carry my wish As far as you can go They look aloft and never see below unless it pleases them They are the lofty folk the world dreams of them I wait here knowing I will die They will die magnificently I bye and bye People will remember them for their sacrifice The towers burnt in flames of smoke their bodies billowing high I will die with these men who will curse as they kill That they who want their loved ones should be fodder for the mill We will die for ignorance and I will die as my death matters least now Mindless killing while I watch matters Soulless killing destroys the killers and killed Knowing we are the foot Means a lot to us Dying as the foot Means we go inch by inch I will call to the wind that makes a mountain fair I will see my thoughts echo I see you standing there Storms above challenge my regard Dancing on my soul Raining through the shard I call to the wind Explosive as it flows Carry my wish As far as you can go |

I'll comment that this was a straight blast letting myself, letting - just sitting my brain when I have a few days to have an argument with the lady but we all think of those past especially those we treasured The words and the images are something that seems to be special At Christmas |

Bodger, if you never write another poem, please know that I have marked, and libraried, and lighted this one, as one that touched me so deep, I had to read it aloud... just to imagine the tone of your voice. It is indeed, a fair ... one that I will revisit, again, and again. Merry Christmas, my friend. Sunshine "There's a reason they call God The Creator - he sides with talent." Julia Cameron |
