That’s what I say…

Some say,
“Life isn’t how you look at it,
Or even what you make of it”.

Some say that,
“It is better to see a glass of milk as half full”.

Some say,
“That love is not about who you love,
But who loves you”.

I say,
You learn the meaning of life on your deathbed.
The last thing you think about
Before you close your eyes to sleep forever,
Is the summary of your life.

I say,
Why should I see a glass of milk as half full?
Or even as half empty.
Why can’t I just see a glass of milk
As a glass of milk?
With no label or title to stick it with.

I say that,
True love,
Real… True love,
Is when you can look at someone
And they see you.
Nothing else.
But you,
Just… you.

I say,
Whether you fly without wings,
Or crash from the altitude.
Life will not stop.
And that should be good enough.

I say,
Why should you have to walk on water?
When you’re already standing in a boat.

That’s what I say…

And I see this for what it is - a wonderful synopsis of opinion on "what is just is".

My glass is neither half full or empty - just usually condensation laced with a drink that needs refreshing!

interesting ideas, but i felt like you were firing them at me with an automatic. i would love to see you develop the ideas more because i find your perspectives interesting.
