I see this night so clearly still
September's rain was falling down
With thunder crashing all around
Climbing the stairs into our realm
Lying beside you, i lost myself
Listening to the sound, that was the rain
High on lust, to just experience
Leaving you
I don't turn around and with no spoken word
I'm running down the stairs to dance in the rain
Jumping in puddles, was somehow in vain
I was soaked, my feet were wet, I shiver
Laughing at myself,......I fell so hard

Rain reminds me of myself in ways. It's not often I read anything or hear anything I can relate to. This poem may be short but it's a good one.

May the winds sweep through the moonless sky....
