Once beneath a moonlit night, I heard my heart doth speak, I swear it true, did recite, Reasons to why loves unique. It spoke of passing seasons, of places so profound, and argued many reasons, why love is best unbound. “Time passes, places do change, yet love does not conform, for the heart does not estrange, tho’ may the heart reform.” “A day cannot help but pass, for nature does restrain, yet never does it surpass, nor love does it constrain.” “The universe is immense, one cannot help but think, That love does but take offence, for love does touch it’s brink.” “I could go on for hours, ‘bout why love is so great, but time ‘gain has proved not ours, and death may not await.” “So we shall in love partake, as long as we have time, from love we shall not break, lest we shall pass it’s prime.” “Let there be no debate, I told you from the start, a love for you does await, Never far from your heart!” |
