Yes, I’m Funny I never walk alone. I walk with miles of pain. I am never shocked to sleep alone. It is what I do every day. I am never afraid to cry alone, Because alone I remain. So why should I fear to die alone. When I’m alone just the same. Forty empty seats at my funeral. Four thousand empty minds, Not thinking of me. I’ve never been loved. That's what I regret the most. I’ve loved another. But she never loved me. She only laughed at my jokes. And loved how I was funny. From day to day, I create laughter. People come from all around to here my jokes. The more I make the faster I go. I’m funny and I know it. They know it too. Back to my funeral, Which is no laughing matter. No jokes there that’s funny. I’m my only guest. It’s only me. Yes it’s bad, But it’s all I got. So I’ll be glad to laugh at my own eulogy. |

I don't understand why that is so, because you are a lot more than funny. You are extremely kind, sensitive, serious, deep-thinking and you deserve to find somebody who is worthy of you, and I am sure you will. Besides, I am sure that if you could be a fly on the wall at your funeral, you would be surprised at the number of people there, and at their sorrow at having lost you. - Owl |

Thank you Owl. See, when I'm nervous or uncomfortable around a lot of people, I just become funny. And when I try to get serious with certain people, it's not received well. But here at PIP I can be myself with the people that welcome me. Thank you everyone especially you Owl. - Sincerely Ed Grim |

Ya know something, Ed, I think you're kind of special! I was truly touched by your openess and this sharing of yourself. I have often used humour to disguise my pain, so I can understand what you are saying. Of course, I haven't walked a mile in your moccassins, so I can't presume to understand completely. Giving you a warm hug and hoping that you won't have to walk the rest of your life's journey alone. EA |
