Snow- white Through midnights frosted face I peeked, and spied desolations virginity, lying low, unfettered and unkempt, upon the ground, as a novice, chapeled and prostrate before the moon, Chastity hesitant, before the carnality of the day, Awaiting industries stigmata to gouge and bleed, disfigurement in the name of humanity. Glazed eyes forever upward, anticipating another veil, for her dissipating nudity, I recalled the illicit sting of her flesh, and in a hallowed whisper, said “No more “, so to my shame, I cursed her, For the sun. |
