Essence 31 July 2003 The art of nature and the nature of art explode into a teardrop of asymmetrical symmetry with and without the cheers and jeers of recognition for beauty simply is. - Owl |

Yes... it is... and our cells seem to recognize even when our eyes don't see. *S* |

it sure is . . . and I like this: asymmetrical symmetry reminds me of snowflakes . . . |

Thank you for your responses, Suthern, littlewing and Magnus. Very true, Suthern. I love pictures of magnifications of snowflakes, littlewing. Giggles, Magnus. I love the way you put that. I'm not sure that you're right, but it sounds good to me, anyway! Thanks. - Owl |

I am truly enjoying your work. My computer died just as you joined but I remembered to find you on my return. This poem had a wonderful message. |

This was and is simply beautiful. I have a question...when I was reading it it seemed to be in the form of a half of a teardrop? Was this intentional or did I read it write in? :-) Anyways touching... definately a piece of beauty! thanks for the read, pictureme2 |

Thank you Earth Angel, Mysteria and pictureme. I am overwhelmed by your responses - Earth Angel I hope I live up to what you think of me; Mysteria that you could make a point of remembering to come back to my work after your computer crashed; and pictureme that you could enjoy it so much and also that you could see the teardrop. No, I didn't intend it to be a teardrop, but yes, it's there - after all you saw it - part of a theory of mine (and somebody else here, I think Ratleader also, and he has a name for it) that if the artist (painter, sculptor, poet, any other creator of art) put something in his/her work without being aware, and it can be proved by anyone that it is there - then, hey presto! IT IS THERE! Thank you for helping me understand my poem better, pictureme! - Owl |
