winter has its own sunset
it FEELS different than in summertime
and when it slides down the horizon you want to cry

strolling Alaska winter nights,
I always felt your warm glow
though you did not know

and when the sun reached its high point
I tried so hard to push it higher,
for zenith never was high enough

and if you ever chance to walk an arctic sunset
or stroll underneath midnite's dancing lights
you will understand how my heart felt

until you turned your back to the sunset
and flew away from me that day
never to return

I have never seen a sunset as beautiful as the one you speak of nor of the moon, and in that, you are blessed for seeing.

But the other?  Oh My . . .

An SPKO for sure.  Your last words hit like hammer to anvil.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
