Light Is failing From the sky Earth itself darkens ‘til Only a narrow purple band Just above the horizon line Is all there is to see Soon One will have imagine blue The color red on a cardinal’s wing Yellow flowers In a summer field Green lily pads The silver moon Can one think enough While yet awake Not to miss windows On the room Perhaps it’s sleep That best answers us . . . How or why And what to do |

I'm not sure if this is "Job" or "job". *smile* I'm not sure if it matters to me right now either. I told myself if I heard either word, just one more time tonight, I would scream. But I liked yours. and I'd tell ya what I dreamed last night, but I'm not seein' a couch anywhere... So I guess I'll just say g'nite John-boy. and good job. grin (Now pass me the zanax, doc, it's been a long, long, day...) |

Tears for your friend and your poem. I hope you have read it to him. Thank you for painting such a beautiful tribute to him for him to hang on to. You are obviously a very good friend and will offer him courage, strength, support, practical help and sight through your eyes, heart, mind and poetic pen. Please tell him that your poem has inspired prayers for him from an owl in a far off country over the sea. - Owl - Owl |

Thank you, yet again. I'm sorry if my questions bother you. I just find your work intriguing, and I like to know more. mea culpa (that generally shuts me up) but not really the information helped me to understand the poem, John. (and yes, I have one too, but recently I have been told that my sharing of experience is not perceived as empathy, but as gamemanship) So...what's to say now? I understand. Now. I understand. *hugs* |

a very beautiful poem. and It is very kind of you to write a poem for him/her. Friends are always pearls to me. I have been very lucky to have many very very kind people to be my friend. We cherish each other. Here friend in need is friend indeed. your friend is lucky to have you as a true caring friend. veru sentimental poem. |
