Improvision

I walk in a garden of improvise
With rowing oars of compromise
The waters are still the sun bright
And I will dream of you tonight

I miss the shadows of high noon
The coat of silver of the moon
The dancing of the forest leaves
The impressions of my believe

You chase my spirit in the field
With a net of grace and yield
And I grow drunk in revelry
Your lips that touch my chivalry

With open wings of butterfly
I churn the milk where butter lie
And walk the rainbow in its bend
To find its treasure at its end

I play the harp with ruffled string
With muffled notes forever spring

Sir Sonneteer, you are the consumate improvisor! You have the uncanny ability to transform the mundane into something magical!

May your harp forever sing the songs of spring!
